Photolucida Critical Mass Award

I was selected as the First-Ever Critical Mass Archive 192 Cash Award Recipient!

Archive 192 is a not-for-profit archive that promotes women and women-identifying photo-based artists working in abstraction. This is the first year of the Critical Mass / Archive 192 prize, which comes with a cash award and a small plaque. Archive 192 was founded and is operated by Louie Palu and Chloe Coleman. Many thanks to Louie, Chloe and Photolucida. I am deeply honored and grateful. A piece from my new project Oil and Land was selected for the award.

Elizabeth Stone

Visual artist Elizabeth Stone's work explores perception and time by combining her study of photography and drawing with biology. The duality of art and science is a strong influence when considering her own place in the world and the marks that she makes.
