I Remember Solo Exhibition October 7 - December 15, 2023

The I Remember project, a community collaborative project, is on view in the Great Gallery of Golden Belt Arts in Durham, NC. There are multiple artworks from the project on view including a new 100 foot strip of 4”x6” images sewn together. These images are printed from some of the community donated negatives spanning over 100 years. There is an interactive wall where visitors can write down a memory starting with the phrase “I Remember”. This project was inspired in part by artist Joe Brainard’s book, I Remember.
